Knitterati's "Communitree" is my favorite part of this year's Art on the Beltline. It's so beautiful to witness, and it reminds me of Carol Hummel's "Tree Cozy."

Love this stuff... great way to incorporate "art" into the walking world. Surprise people and get them to notice and appreciate their surroundings. Saw something similar to this done in a pocket park in downtown Traverse City, MI. The connection between art and craft is SO important!
